Over 69.000 euros from Tuscany Region for a new digital platform signed Siena Imaging

The Tuscany Regional Government has granted Siena Imaging €69.200 as part of the
Digital Enterprise Call for Proposals included in the Tuscany ERDF Regional Programme
2021-2027. The funds, allocated under the "Services for Innovation" action and
representing about 58% of the contribution requested by Siena Imaging, will support a
project aimed at creating a secure digital platform certified as a CE-marked medical
device. The aim is to facilitate the clinical work of neurologists and neuroradiologists and to
optimise the timing of results.
The digital platform will be built using web technology and deployed on cloud computing
type systems to avoid the generation of paper documentation. The new platform will also
make it possible to analyse medical image data (MRI images, CT scans, etc.) of patients
managed by doctors who are users of the platform, who will be able to receive reports and
tamper-proof images with useful information for diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of the
patient.
